janeAs a public affairs professional Jane has 30+ years wide-ranging experience in the energy and wider utility industry and has held a range of senior roles including public policy roles for National Grid and the National Joint Utilities Group (NJUG), the UK’s only trade association representing utilities and their contractors on street works matters.

She has extensive knowledge of the energy and wider utility industry and its key players, and strong relationships with Government and a range of other key energy and utility stakeholders. During her time at National Grid and NJUG she developed and delivered a number of successful strategies resulting in significant tangible benefits in the areas of street works, planning, energy, environment, health and safety and communications (broadcasting / telecommunications).

She now provides strategic political advice and practical lobbying support for a range of energy, utilities, communications and transport clients, including leading energy industry engagement on the Planning Act 2008 and its associated regulations and guidance, co-ordinating the energy response to the Marine Bill (currently progressing through Parliament), continuing to act in an advisory capacity for NJUG and representing them at a range of external fora.

She has a proven track record of delivering bottom-line and reputational benefits for clients, working with them to deliver strategic campaigns and engagement programmes, and building consensus through her extensive network of contacts.
